Summary | 0008870: Storm Dash Way Too Fast
Description | Immediately upon upgrading to 1.116, I discovered that storm dash now makes me move too fast to have any control. For reference, double-tap and immediately release will take me about 1/3 of the way across an outdoor map in less than a second.

Quick! Get a bronze age character, stack movement speed like a boss, get a boomstick enchant and craft storm fist! Go for the land speed record! (And record it! :3 ) (Also, may want to plonk down the world file. I haven't encountered this thus far.) |
It went away when I quit and reloaded. Ah, well. Any idea how I can change this issue to basically just "never mind"? |
Well, if it happened, but went away after quitting, then it's still a legitimate bug that should be looked into. Of course, assuming it can be reproduced again. |
That is the question, of course. I've been using an industrial revolution character with +45% movement speed from enchants and innate. I also noticed that while the bug was active and while I was using storm dash, the mana bar was flickering between max mana and 1 below that. I also built a large pagoda before quitting and reloading, that may have had some impact. |
you can edit the report, if you feel it really should be un-reported. Change the resolution to say, "No change needed", but only if you really feel it was things acting as they were supposed to, just something you didn't expect with all of that stacked speed. |
I had this same issue happen as well. Updated, character went ridiculously fast (and the regen was making it so that I'd basically never run out). Restarting got rid of the issue entirely. Definitely some sort of bug there though. |
Encountered this with V1.2 in the settlement: quitting and reloading made it disappear. Echoing the people above who have said: there's definitely something off somewhere. |
