Description | This has happened twice in the same game, so it doesn't appear to be because you've reached the last personality structure. The second scroll is unusable after the first has been used. Suggest that mission rewards ensure that two of the same 'personality structure' cannot be rewarded. | ||||

The second one isn't totally useless - you can save it for the next continent, right? (I'm actually not sure if you can carry over personality structures between continents, but I think you can.) |

Nope, you can't save it for the next continent. The problem with ensuring that you don't get duplicates on these is that we never know if a player will actually try to complete a secret mission or not. This is something we'll have to come up with a fallback for for 1.3, probably. |

I see what you're saying, I wasn't thinking along the lines of duplicates for separate missions; I was thinking along the lines of preventing duplicates for a 'single' mission. |

As for duplicates in separate missions - maybe you could have logic saying if a secret mission's rewards contain a personality structure or personality-structure-scroll you already have, then its rewards will be re-selected from the list of rewards you don't have, and from the list of world map buildings; I suppose the check would be made every time you completed a mission, on all secret missions on that continent that you were aware of, or something like that. |

For 1.116: * Secret missions will now absolutely not seed the same guardian power more than once in the reward list. ** This won't impact already-generated secret missions, fyi. Thanks :) |
