Description | Sea essence is incredibly difficult to find without the use of NPCs flat out getting it for you. It's only technically available in 3 regions. One is actually not so due to the complete lack of buildings in that particular region (Ocean). One is not available until later continents (Swamp), so that leaves only the Ocean Shallows. Honestly, something needs to be added or adjusted, sea essence is, and has always been the most difficult component to find, not to mention splitting that up to Deep Sea essence to make both that much more difficult to find than any of the other arcane ingredients. Just for reference, I 100% scouted every cave for every building to get to every stash for 3 cave levels. Want to know how many sea essences I found in all that time? http://i.imgur.com/aozmv.jpg This may be alleviated in the future when/if underwater structures are implemented, or oceanic regions in general are worked on a bit more. But as it stands now something can seriously be looked into. >.>;; | ||||

Maybe sea essence gem veins could be added to Ocean regions, and maybe to the Ocean Shallows as well? |

Thanks! * Two new buildings have been added to the game: floating underwater vessels of mysterious origin. ** These appear in the oceans, and give you something new to scout for in the ocean tiles. These are particularly useful for finding sea essence and other ingredients that otherwise were particularly scarce until you got to continent 3 (when swamps appear). |
