Description | In my new game the AI has unlocked Maw ships, when they swallow some ships they seem to retreat deep inside AI territory triggering raid engines that they go past. Is this an intended effect or not? I'm inclined to think this behaviour is a bit too evil, especially if i was to be against a raid engine AI... | ||||

Similar issue with tractored ships, though in that case it is a bit more understandable, as tractored ships can still fire back. Swallowed ships can't. |

I think it's fine with tractored ships, mainly because those ships are likely to be destroyed before they get dragged that far into AI territory. Swallowed ships however can be taken on a joyride across the whole galaxy, luckily none of those Maws took a trip past the AI homeworld. Core Raid engine fun in the first 30 minutes ;) |
