Description | * This item would boost attacks for as long as you're still killing things, but leave you weak if you don't deal enough death. * When used, the pack's effects last for 30 seconds. * When used, the pack gives you +40% damage. However, if you go 5 seconds without having killed an enemy, this bonus is lost until you kill an enemy. (The 30 seconds still continue to count down even when you don't have the bonus.) * If you go 5 seconds without killing an enemy, you have -40% damage reduction until you kill an enemy. * This item would only appear in stashes. | ||||

The item would be much less useful at higher difficulties where each enemy is more durable. I dunno if that means it needs to be changed in some way, but I figured I would mention this. Still seems good for use in areas with low HP enemies. Do projectile enemies count? (Living fire etc) |

I'd be inclined to say yes to projectile enemies counting since they tend to only be in boss battles and thus there's not usually a lot of other enemies you could maintain your killing with around. As the item losing usefulness at higher combat difficulties, if it did need changing I'd be inclined to make it higher risk higher reward by increasing the damage bonus (thus increasing your chances of being able to kill within the 5 second time limit) rather than increase the time limit, since it fits better (at least to my mind) with the idea of higher combat difficulty requiring better gameplay from the player. |
