Description | It is currently possible to have a lieutenant tower with no warp gates for a couple of chunks in either direction. This is annoying because: 1) if you die in the climbing room, it takes a long time to run back, and 2) if you take the one-way teleporter out of the tower after killing the lieutenant, you still have to find a warp gate before you can leave the region. Currently the one-way teleporter feels like a trick; I take it out of instinct and then realize that I would have been better off just going back down the stairs. These issues could be fixed by seeding warp gates outside of lieutenant towers. | ||||

Personally, if there are no warp gates in the adjacent chunks I'll usually get one in one of the buildings in aformentioned adjacent chunks, so it doesn't seem to be as big a problem (at least for me). That said, it doesn't seem unreasonable to have one; it'd probably help level out difficulty between climbing towers a little better (since then you'd likely start all of them "fresh".) |
