Summary | 0008481: Rescue mission entrance: let me see who I'd be rescuing
Description | With secret missions and "seek survivor" power missions, I can see information about the rescuee before I commit to starting the mission. But in chunks labeled "Underground Rescue Mission Entrance", the mission entrance just says "Press E to attempt Rescue Mission - One Try Only!".

I don't think this would be so necessary. With the seek survivor, the Ilari are doing the detecting, and can tell you what's going on before you know. In the case of a random encounter, you don't know much of anything about it, as I feel it probably should be. To say that the Ilari should always tell you who you're rescuing is then enough to say that the Ilari should always inform you of where survivors are hiding. The Ilari don't CREATE survivors for you to rescue (logically, as far as story goes) but instead find where they are, and lead you to them, informing you of everything you need to know. Without that aid, we get it as it is now. I'm sure the devs thought about this too, and probably chose it this way for that reason, that the Ilari tell you more than you would normally know. No offense, but I feel this is a desire for more out of being spoiled by the guardian power. Just my opinion. I like the mystery behind it being so cryptic like that. |

It's weird that you can see the rescuee if it's a "secret mission room" but not if it's a "rescue mission room". Should the former be changed? |

thats kinda a good idea actually, unless "secret" missions are ones the ilari allow you to go on, stuff they want you to do, while the mission scrolls are like asking them for specific stuff... meanwhile the overworld missions are things you encounter, including the survivor mission chunks (which would be like finding a smoke signal or the likes so that you know someone nearby needs rescuing, but know nothing about who, besides the time period of who it is you're rescuing) STILL, the mystery of knowing only sometimes works for me, and im fine with no changes needed |
