Summary | 0008093: Cannot jump if being pulled down a slope.
Description | If you are being pulled by a Will-O-Wisp, and you are standing on a tile sloped downward, it seems that the game doesn't think you are touching the ground. You can jump fine the first time, but after you "land" back on the slope, it acts like you never hit the ground, and therefore can't jump again.

If you have a save of this happening, it would help a lot. |
|
Here is a link to the worldsave where this happens. I only see it happening now on slopes going to the right. In the save, the game is paused with me standing on a slope near a will of the wisp. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/69626269/Party%20Town%20Deluxe.zip Edit: Ok well you actually have to jump around on the slope a little bit to the west... Try landing on the slope here http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197988727748/screenshot/540676547493132657 and then try jumping again while you are being pulled down it. I think the problem is that since you are being pulled to the east and you are also on the slope, you are constantly "falling" and never hit the ground.. maybe. |

Thanks! I can repro it from this. |

Thanks! * The mechanics of Will O The Wisps have been changed around fairly substantially. ** They no longer have a ranged attack -- that was really pushing things in terms of their difficulty. ** They now lift you up into the air and prevent you from jumpin or falling as you move toward them. ** They now pull you toward themselves slower on the X axis, but you also can't resist their pull by pushing away from them. *** This prevents issues with your screen automatically looking the wrong way, or being unable to attack them with movement-directed aiming because of having to resist them, etc. |
