Summary | 0007840: Add 'offscreen pointer' indicator to selected elements
Description | I sometimes want to build something in a particular location -- zooming in gives me resolution to place so it's effective range is where I want it (covering a wormhole, for example), but also relative to something offscreen. If I zoom out too much, I can see where my relative target is, but am at poor resolution for placement. See attached picture :-)

I would like this as well. Actually, just a toggle to turn guide lines between warp points and the Command Station would be perfect. Maybe have it toggle between 4 states: no guide lines shown, between each warp point and the command station, between each warp point only, between both warp points and from warp points to command station. For now my ghetto method of doing this is to put an engineer or other unit next to my command station, pause the game, and order them through the worm hole. Then I can see their movement path by holding down ALT and that is effectively a guideline between the command station and worm hole. |
