Description | When the character is minature and standing on the ground, firing an energy slice down-and-right causes the energy slice to be absorbed right away rather than traveling along the ground as it normally does. I noticed this while doing a "Journey to Perfection" mission in a grassland-with-groves area. | ||||

Thanks! * Removed the "spells try to scale up really fast when spawned" logic from the game. That was a mild CPU drain, but more to the point it was the cause of numerous bugs. The problem it was trying to solve can actually be solved a different way, it turns out, anyhow. * When spells like fireball or energy orb or similar are fired by players or enemies, if it can't seed them straight on where the normal seeding would happen it instead shifts by a third of the height or width of the spell to each side to see if it can see if it can seed it there. ** This prevents the "can't fire when right under ceiling" and "can't fire certain spells when really short" issues a lot better than the older "scale spells up really fast" logic ever did. |
