| Description | I think it would be really nice if the "forward" half of the Rock Arches were in front of the player, so it would appear that you could walk under it. The top part would have to act as a platform, and I think there is already an outstanding task to make some background items more intractable. | ||||

Having a platform on top: fine, no problem with that at all. Having half the arch in the foreground: I'd be concerned about "sneak attacks" from enemies concealed by the arch. Dying because you can't see something really isn't fair, so unless there's some way to cause you, enemies and projectiles to be visible behind foreground objects I'd say no. |

The rock arches are just about my favorite piece of scenery in the game; I'd really like to be able to climb them. I think the foreground thing would be reasonable --- having the odd place for an enemy to hide seems reasonable to me; the game is supposed to encourage a bit of caution. |

But what would happen at the top of the arch, where the two parts met? Would the player straddle the line between realities, half in front and half behind the broken arch? A cosmic intervention would split the player in twain? An unhandled error dot txt? But seriously, I love this idea. Those arches are such a huge piece of scenery. |

It would be considered a platform, to avoid just such a situation of further world shattering confluences! |
