Summary0007602: Tile Specific Envoironmental Hazards
DescriptionIn addition to world map hazards such as the pirates and the storms, is it possible to make tile specific hazards and obstructions beyond water, cliffs and lava?
In the tutorial there where those gate blocking slimes that fit this idea. having such slimes with a single weakness could prove to be a good way of making players change their spell line-up from time to time, and forcing them to get more then just 2 of the spell elements if they want to see more of the map (much of the game can be completed without ever changing your primary and secondary spells).
Additional obstructions could also be added, such as Ice Age tiles where there is a chance of a glacial mass or icy wall being present. Such a wall would always have good loot behind it, however it could only be removed by high powered fire spells, (or perhaps a single spell only?).
i am sure that many other region specific obstuctions could be thought up, and this would different zones play differently to others.
