I think this happens when you killed a monster or a boss near or on the top of the map using spells with high knock-back like ball lightning, and thrusting an enemy to the ceiling. This still happens to me very frequently. I think this can be solved by reducing the size of "hitbox" for items like shards or stones, allowing them to be in the room when dropped. |

I've also noticed it happens pretty frequently with explosive espers - if not putting the shards in the corner, then shoving them through parts of the terrain to somewhere completely unrelated to where the esper actually died. Does the fireball shrapnel occupy space as far as pickup spawns are concerned? |

It's not just knockback-spells, this happened to me when I killed stuff with forest rage. |

Agreeing that this still occurs (Online, <50ms roundtrip) with knockback-spells. Used Ball Lightning to hit an explosive esper against the roof in a small hallway, killing it. Half the shrapnel looked to be inside the walls. My guess is that walls count as solid objects (duh) so it can't spawn them anywhere there, and the first available non-solid location is the top left corner/outside the room bounds. |

It seems as though when its unable to determine an open space to drop, it falls back on 0,0. Or whatever the real equivalent of those coordinates are. |
