Description | What if there was a bonus for each time you go up a tier? I suggest making an additional upgrade slot available for each time the player advances a tier. This bonus would only affect the character that was used to complete the last mission in the tier, and no one character could recieve this bonus more than five times, making the maximum number of upgrades potentially 15, given that the player uses the same character for the last mission of each tier, and doesn't die. This would add more of a penalty to dying, since upgrade stones are so easy to accumulate. | ||||

Ouch, that's harsh! Permanently losing the ability to add an upgrade sounds like the exact thing I would quit and reload a backup for. |

No, it would only lose the EXTRA backups. The minimum/default number of upgrades would stay at 10. |
