| Description | It doesn't seem to take hardly any time to backup a world, it seems like it takes longer for me to click the OK button to back up than it does to make the backup. Could we add a check box to that dialog to just allow the game to always back up our worlds? | ||||

I only back up every update, since it takes on the order of minutes on my computer. |

Looks like each chunk gets its own file. I'm only on 2nd continent and already my world has over 2000 files. No wonder it takes a long time to back up for some people. What if you're on your 5th continent? 10th? You'd have 10000 files copied each time you back up. Seems a bit excessive. |

You aren't suggesting only backing up those files that changed since the last backup, are you? Cuz if you were, that would be both crazy and brilliant. ;). |

The world itself is tiny, only a few megabytes. What takes a long time is creating all those files. If the world was all one file, or less than a few dozen files, then backup would be much much faster in your case. (I don't have that problem though, backup is pretty much instant on my computer) |
