Summary0007345: Colorblind alterations for the chunk map.
DescriptionI have red/green colorblindness and I often have issues telling which doors I have/have not gone through on the chunk map. Occasionally I find myself having to run to each individual door and verify with the dungeon map where I'll be stepping into next. This seems to be a bigger issue for me in caves. There are already solid queues for doors in buildings, lit up icons and darkened doors and what-not. Not to mention most floors in a building are much smaller and checking door to door isn't as tedious as cave platforming.

The colors themselves wouldn't necessarily have to be changed, and a fix could be an easy alteration in shape on chunk map markers. For example:
-Passages you have already been through could be triangles.
-Unexplored passages remain squares.
-Warp gates could be circles.

As per the idea I linked, adding a config file (or menu option, but config file is sufficient) for adjusting the minimap colors would be great!

After giving it more thought I should add I prefer different shapes/designs over color options in games. Some gem styled puzzle games can operate with unlimited colors by having different shapes and designs. On the other hand, I have played puzzlers that were using only 5 colors and was unplayable for me due to everything looking the same.

I'm reminded of a certain music themed rail puzzler that allows color adjustment, and to this day I have yet to get a scheme that works properly for me. If only the blocks had varying looks.
