I was going to say it has been awhile, but looking at the date it appears to be only about a month, however, without getting bitchy about it, when i play the game it really, 'really', REALLY bothers me to have the health, mana and planning and spell bar take up so much room. I noticed someone had shrunken the screen, so that there is a black bar across the bottom of the screen. Please take this the right way, and not wrong, but that is a cheap way out. I love your game, I know you have worked very hard on it, and i know there are lots of people making suggestions and even impolite demands, which is hard on you. BUT, i really really really need this changed, if there were a way for me to mod it myself and change it just for me, then i would. perhaps you can make the health and mana appear only when we use them, or in the case of health, when it is changed up or down, then fade away so its not covering up areas of the screen. Same for mana. The planning button, really needs to be out of the way, and in one of the key combo's and not on the screen all the time. As for the spell bar? Please make it smaller, or sizable like the map that is re-sized. Also, this is separate but the dungeon and region maps are really crazy to use and figure out, maybe you can understand them, but to me they are incomprehensible. Help me out here, i'm trying to figure out how to use this thing! Please! Anyway, i didn't write this in the forum in front of everyone so please know that i am trying to be considerate and nice. I thought about not playing the game anymore anyway, just because it gets to me. And maybe since I've already bought it, it doesn't matter anymore, but i think it does and that is why i am writing this. Anyway, like i said at the start, this is intended just as a little reminder, not a bitchy gripe session. I am trying to restrain my frustration and still get my point across that this really, 'really', REALLY bothers me with the bars thing! Thank you for listening, :) I am trying not to be a bitch about it, but Please see what you can do about this bar thing, OK? I don't have a black bar across the bottom of the screen... But yeah I agree that the interface does get in the way sometimes. |

I'm playing on a 1920x1080 resolution, so for me they hardly bother at all. Though an option to remove at least the planning button would probably be prudent. It's something of an encyclopedic thing that should honestly be available in the ESC-meny rather than permanently on screen. As for health/mana...dunno what could be done there. But hey, customer choice is power right? :) |
