| Description | In trying to connect to a game over the internet with a friend i was unable to do so when the game told me that i needed the same version as them (beta 1.017) . I tried to download and instal the beta for mac (bought it through steam) and i was unable to do so as it told me that the file was not found in some ong extension... So far i am quite disappointed as i was looking foreword to playing this game in multiplayer but so far i am unable to do so....also the friend is running on a windows pc... | ||||

This doesn't seem to work. I'm also at 1.016 on a Mac and trying to update. Whenever I launch the game, it finds a beta and if you click on it runs through the normal Arcen update process, but then it launches back into 1.016 and finds the beta again. I tried applying the update but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Anything else I can try? |

Oops, you're absolutely right! The Mac version of patch 1.017 did not include the dll needed to bring the mac up to date. Sorry about that! It's fixed now. |
