| Description | The spell only mentions 'nearby' for its effective area, and in testing now it's rather hard to tell when a nest is covered by it and when it is not. Having rarely used the spell, I'd always assumed it just effected the whole room. Perhaps the smoky effect around monster nests could turn blue when it's doused? On a slightly related note, that smoke effect only seems to appear around nests when you walk away from them. If you're close, it vanishes. | ||||

The nest having smoke means it is active. Your being near the nest automatically disables it; and similarly, if you move away from it and the smoke doesn't come back, that means the dousing is working. |

I can drop a douse directly on top of a nest, and it will still smoke when I walk away. ...And spawn monsters, actually. I think I have a different problem here. Should I just open a new ticket? You know that's probably a silly question, I'll just go do that. |
