| Description | Just played an assassination mission on Toll's server. Got to the boss room and picked up an enchant container, earning a new enchant. The 'Defeat' banner showed across the screen. Then I killed the boss, but I'm not 100% certain I got the reward. There was no message in the log about tier orbs or arcane materials received. | ||||

It sounds like someone else was in the mission (not necessarily the same room) and died, which causes mission failure (the Defeat banner you saw). And once a mission is failed it no longer can be succeeded (by killing the boss in this case), and thus can't give rewards. Or are you certain no one else was on, or have you seen this happen when it was just you? |

Hmm, it was a while ago, and I know there were others on the server at the time. It's quite possible they entered the mission behind me and bit it. I haven't seen it happen since. |

Ok, thanks. I'm going to optimistically close this one, then, as I think that "picking up an enchant container => defeat" would be more widely reported and I can't think of any reason other than someone else dying in there for it to have failed. If you see it again, let me know :) |
