Description | Normally when you shoot down one of their guided missiles, it makes a big plasma-y explosion (see screenshot one). However, if you shoot them down when they're against the ground, no such explosions occur (see screenshot two). | ||||

I tested this, and it looks like this doesn't happen anymore. See the screenshot. Note that the explosion isn't just visual: the game is reporting that it's producing shrapnel, and you can see that it's damaging background objects. I'm guessing this got fixed at some point when the 'Landspeeder Robot Missile' was renamed 'Miasma Missile'? Note: I'm assuming that 'Landspeeder Robots' are what Crashed Landspeeders were called in February 2012, and not a monster I've yet to unlock on a higher continent tier. |
