Description | The overlord isn't happy that the heroes have found his cache of rare commodities. Instead of a warp point out, the tower begins to explode/collapse/self destruct. There is a countdown and maybe screen shaking/rubble. The players must escape the tower before being destroyed. All warp points would be removed from the tower when the self destruct is started, the overlord thought of that :) Possibly, some new monsters are also spawned in addition to any that the players left behind. | ||||

This would be similar to the "AI Plots" system. It would remove the guaranteed ending that the players assume is coming, as well has being a great Metroid reference. It would also reward players who clear out a tower first. |

I think a time-based challenge once in a while would be a good thing. I like this idea. |
