Summary | 0005810: Ilari stone healing not working in multiplayer
Description | As above. I was on Toll's multiplayer server, and returning to the settlement with very low health I found the Ilari stone didn't do anything. No animation, no log event, no heal. Works just fine in single-player.

Interesting. I joined my MP world for a while and took a bit damage (from 100% to 95% or something like that). The Ilari stone healed me. I went and explored for a while to get enough stones to get to 200%, and got knocked down to 42% in the process (before I used the stones). The Ilari stone didn't heal me then, nor when I used the stones to boost me to 142%. |
So, restarted the server, and got healed to 200%. Got out, got damaged, and returned. No healing. So the stone heals you once, then you have to restart the server. |
The Ilari are tired of you crawling down in some dirty cave, getting yourself half killed, and dragging yourself back and expecting them to take care of it. From now on it's going to be band-aids and iodine only. |
Just to confirm, leaving the server and returning doesn't help. |
Right; I have to restart the server to generate another heal. Just disconnecting/reconnecting makes no difference whatsoever. |
Thanks for adding this. Chris, Keith, and I ran into this a bit last week, |
I made some changes to how this works a few days ago. Has anyone seen it in 0.579+? |
Still seems to happen on my server, at least. |
Still happening, FYI. |
See dup for a possible cause. |

I actually renamed my old debug-log just after updating this time. All that can be seen in it since starting the server is the following: 2/28/2012 8:31:11 PM Server sending C_RequestCredentials message at System.Environment.get_StackTrace() at ArcenDebugging.ArcenDebugLog(System.String Message) at ArcenDebugging.TellTheDeveloper(System.String Message) at NetworkServerWrapper.OnClientConnect(Lidgren.Network.NetConnection sender) at NetworkServerWrapper.CheckServer() at MainCameraLogic.Update() 2/28/2012 8:36:44 PM QueuedAbilityUse.Execute:rejected BallLightningExplosion due to usingEntityID 36028797018991777 not found:True at System.Environment.get_StackTrace() at ArcenDebugging.ArcenDebugLog(System.String Message) at QueuedAbilityUse.TryExecute() at Game.ProcessSimStep() at Game.RunNextCycle(Boolean DoRendering) at Game.RunFrame() at MainCameraLogic.Update() 2/28/2012 8:36:44 PM QueuedAbilityUse.Execute:rejected BallLightningExplosion due to usingEntityID 36028797018991777 not found:True at System.Environment.get_StackTrace() at ArcenDebugging.ArcenDebugLog(System.String Message) at QueuedAbilityUse.TryExecute() at Game.ProcessSimStep() at Game.RunNextCycle(Boolean DoRendering) at Game.RunFrame() at MainCameraLogic.Update() 2/28/2012 8:45:19 PM QueuedAbilityUse.Execute:rejected LaunchRockHit due to usingEntityID 36028797018991801 not found:True at System.Environment.get_StackTrace() at ArcenDebugging.ArcenDebugLog(System.String Message) at QueuedAbilityUse.TryExecute() at Game.ProcessSimStep() at Game.RunNextCycle(Boolean DoRendering) at Game.RunFrame() at MainCameraLogic.Update() Don't think any of that is actually of use to you, but there it is. |

As of version 0.904 this is still happening. I am really glad that the crafting workbench works in multiplayer. Perhaps the bug has something to do with the NPC chatting? Or perhaps is the healing using the white-list/black-list accidentally? |
Intermittently happening in version 0.906. I was able to see the Illari again at one point later on when another player was in the chunk with me and I was at full health. |
Thanks! * Completely redid the logic for how the Ilari healing works, so that hopefully that occasional bug with them not healing you in multiplayer is nixed. |
