Summary0005709: Instead of granting mission rewards directly to inventory, drop them
DescriptionIt would be more satisfying to pick them up :-)
Especially in the boss towers, where you now get rewards and still have a few rooms to go.
Suggestion:
Battlegrounds drop mission rewards when building is destroyed (At spot building was in)
Boss tower rewards placed in the 'treasure' chunk at the top of the tower.

The main problem I see with this is that mission chunks go away after the mission is gone. If you happen to miss picking it up, well, no reward for you. I like the safety of knowing that I will get the reward.

Yep, it opens up two possibilities:

1. Players can get screwed out of their reward.
2. Players can game this to get the reward multiple times.

Both are possible if we make the rewards drops, and I can't think of any solution to it other than making them not drops. Sorry!

Is there anything unique to 0000002 WRT mission rewards? (vs all the other stuff you can find in the world). Harvesting vitality stones can be similar (and if you're cheating, you're cheating)

I was thinking to not remove the mission until the rewards were claimed -- though I expect that would put it out of scope for 1.0.

Agree with not making it so a player feels screwed :-)

Anyway, I think it's ok for 1.0 as it is now, just wanted to put my thoughts down while I had them.

Yes, 2 is unique to missions. Here's how you could cheat:

1. Collect rewards, or part of the rewards, but don't otherwise finish the mission.
2. Close the game, and delete the chunk you were in. It's not hard to figure out how to do.
3. Open the game, and it will regenerate that chunk, and you'll be able to play through the mission again -- but without any CP increase thanks to not having fully completed the mission.

Rare commodity towers were possible because we could call the mission complete when you picked up the single rare commodity, and it was impossible to thus game the system like that. But having more than one drop isn't possible. We could thus do a bundle of items all in one drop as part of the mission, but then point 1 still remains WRT players being able to end the mission without actually picking up those rewards.
