Summary0005638: Eliminate 'Emit Light' spell
DescriptionBack when they had to be crafted, it made sense. Sometimes I would run around w/o light to save them. Now, unless I am missing something, it is just 'press x every so often'. There's no real penalty for using it, and you can't tell when the effect is going to run out, so casting it before every room/chunk/whatever is no big deal.

If you could work out a reasonable penalty/cost for using it (that works for both surface and below-ground chunks), then I could see it making sense.

Another thought -- if you make the duration of the spell infinite, but make the radius of the light min(spell tier, enemy tier), then there would at least be incentive to find materials to craft a higher level version of it.

Emit light is going to be an enchant, the current method is just a temporary placeholder at this point.
