DescriptionI think we can make piercing weapons viable without being overpowered in environments with tons of monsters. The way to balance it would be to allow a maximum amount of enemy or hazard entities that can be hit before the piercing projectile dissipates. Might 3 enemies be reasonable or is another number better in your experience?

I'd also like to see some variation of this. For example, Energy Pulse is one of my favorite spells, and yes, it part because it's piercing, but also because I've used it so much that I'm pretty good at aiming it now. I get why we don't want it piercing indefinitely, but I'd still like it to be of some use.
