Summary0005210: Add neutral skelebot snipers as recruitable npcs (alongside regular skelebots)
DescriptionIn my game at the moment it seems like the centurions have replaced the normal skelebots and the snipers. I know there's a slight difference between friend and enemy skelebots but I still consider them the same...just the friend ones have a a sort of "face". So the only one really missing is the sniper.

Possibly at the point where skelebot centurions arrive then skelebot snipers could start appearing as recruitable npcs in junkyard wind shelters/settlements?

Neutral Skelebots actually look different from any other kind of skelebot. The regular skelebots, skelebot snipers, skelebot dwarves, centurions, giants, overlords... all are different graphics.

I know but I still associate neutral skelebots with the regular skelebots enemies.

They look similar even if they are different.

I was thinking there could be the same equivalent for sniper skelebots.

I dunno -- maybe, I guess. I've just been working under the idea that all the neutrals are more or less one model number.

Maybe the current neutrals could build new types of neutral skelebots?

I always assumed the skelebots knew how to create their own kind since there isn't humans around to do it. So why not have neutral skelebot scientists/engineers that can experiment and create new models. So at the start you could only find the base neutral skelebots (that exist now) but at some point you can actually create new models with unique attributes. (like neutral skelebot npcs that have no legs but fly around using some kind or propeller)

That would probably come if you're planning on allowing the creation of new technologies for the civilizations. Research, experimenting that sort of thing.
