Summary0005205: Dungeon map flickering when moving mouse
DescriptionWhen moving my mouse around on the screen, the dungeon map begins to flicker wildly. I tried to capture it with fraps but it didn't work that well. The best I could do was grab screenshots while moving my mouse around.

i've attached a screenshot, showing the dungeon map flickering (it's far more rapid in actual gameplay.)

Does this happen all the time? Or only at certain times? Chris mentioned this to me, but I couldn't get this to reproduce no matter what I tried.

It seems to have happened mainly in buildings, but I've seen it happen outside too. It's more of a constant thing for me, so I'm wondering if it has to do with my system setup. When I tried recording with something, it wouldn't happen which makes me think it's somehow tied to framerate (since I have a crappy computer and my framerate drops considerably when I record video).

I was seeing this, then I stopped seeing it, with the latest release myself. I have a really nice computer and my framerate was really good at the time, so it's not that. It's on my list to hunt for today, since someone else is seeing it again.

I am seeing this, it first appeared in todays update.

It happens in some rooms, not in others. See attached picture for a room seed where it happens.

The flickering happens when I move the mouse over the door and other walls. It does not happen all the time.

* Fixed the bug in recent versions that was causing the dungeon/region maps to flicker in some cases. This was actually a two-part bug. One part has been there for a really long time, since alpha at least, and was a very minor performance drain in general. The other part was a multiplayer-related change that brought out the actual flickering in the last version. Both are now fixed.
