Description | I envision this as a medium-short range water spell with a wide projectile and knock-back. A water 'meteor' if you will, that will only reach half a screen width away at most with a hitbox about as big. I'd like it to be an alternative for use against fire bats and, most importantly, faerie projectiles. I think it should arc slightly like Meteor and Throw Rock but not as much since it is vapor. My reasoning for knockback is that since it is scalding, whatever it hits should move/be pushed away from it.
If the spell lacks the damage to destroy faerie projectiles outright close to your level/appropriate tier, then the cool down should be short enough to allow a second shot if you get stuck. I find that without Meteor I can get stuck in a position where I can't kill the projectiles fast enough with any appropriate tiered spell and there currently isn't a mass knockback spell to give you a second chance. Or I end up with a cloud of them camping the doorway and there simply isn't a way to push them back. |
