Summary0005071: "undead" boss blocking path
DescriptionPossibly this was reported already but i honestly tried and couldnt find anything.

in an underground Dungeon i fought against 2 shadow bats and killed them both simultanously with the ice cross both dropped shards i gained experience and society leveld up but one of them didnt vanish and blocks the door to the treasure room leaving adn entering the room didnt resolve it he is still stuck where he was without lifebar and paushing the game and hovering over him reveals that he curretnly has minus life spells/attacks still damage him and send him even further into the minus numbers. even pass his maximum positive health so i assume it goes on indefinetly.

Hmm, when I load up that save it looks like the boss is properly dead. Can you confirm if that's what you're seeing?

... wow hail your magic remote fixing capabilities i restarted the game and checked and each time the boss was still stuck in his undead state but now that you took a look he indeed dissapeared... i guess tahts one of the rare positive effect murphy situations?

* Put in some changes to hopefully fix "undead" monsters.
** This fix should hopefully work, but it's important to note that since we could not yet duplicate it or get a save from anyone that demonstrated this, we're shooting mildly blindly with it.

For what its worth, I hit this exact same bug in basically the same way.

I was fighting 2 bats underground. I killed them both with a single ability, which also happened to level my civilization. One of the 2 bats sat there undead which blocked my progress further underground.

Unfortunately I did not stop & save the game at that point, so I don't have a file to share.

Some logic from a few versions back to prevent having entities "die twice" was preventing some of them, in some circumstances, from even dying once. Which I figured was the general cause, but until I had a test case to actually test against I couldn't find which specific part of the logic was the issue.
