Summary0005063: Rampaging monster frozen, will not die.
DescriptionWhile killing a group of rampaging monsters, one of the monsters froze when his health hit zero. He does not move. If I exit the chunk and end my turn on the strategic map, he changes places within the chunk, but still does not move/die. The icon for this monster on the strategic map is a pink X.

Hmm, that's an odd one. If you go back into the same area, is the monster still there with its health at 0? If so, a save would be great.

Oh, he's still there, just changes places. He levels up with me, too, which makes me feel like I have a friend.

Not sure which file is the save, so I uploaded the two .dat files from my world folder. Let me know if I'm wrong.

Happened again... this time, with a regular bat. I left the invincible bat behind and started whacking trees, when they became invincible as well. See trees.jpg. Exited to menu and reloaded my game - the trees were gone.

This happened to me once I think, I was certain I killed the last mob member but he respawned when I went back.

However he eventually stayed dead after about 2 more kills.

I should be able to fix this once I get a working save -- the Rley.7z might have something, but I can't find where to go, I'm just on the world map.

In terms of the other save that was uploaded, I need the actual region folder that goes along with the region in question, not just the world.dat and regions.dat. The region folders have the actual monsters and terrain stored in them, so without that all I have are the global NPCs (evil and good), and all the broad region info from the world map and macrogame.

* Put in some changes to hopefully fix "undead" monsters.
** This fix should hopefully work, but it's important to note that since we could not yet duplicate it or get a save from anyone that demonstrated this, we're shooting mildly blindly with it.

I'm not sure which of the 500+ region folders is the one with the error in it... it's the region with civ level 20, so I figured I'd upload Region 20 for a start (under ~\AVWW\RuntimeData\Worlds\Rley\Region_20). Could you give me a better idea of how to find the save? Thanks much.

When you're in a region, hit F3 and then you'll see the region ID in the debug info there. If this is something that is surviving into a savegame, I'd definitely love that folder. I highly doubt it's region 20, though -- probably in the 200s or 300s.

Added a Worlds.zip file. There should be a similarly frozen faerie directly above my character. However, when I reloaded the save it had disappeared, so I'm not sure this is going to help.

It's not null. It's very negative! -51.000 to be sure. I uploaded picture as "Negative monster.png". Also, as F3 says it's region 77, I uploaded World1-Region77.zip as well.

Also I can add that it happens when I hit two bosses simultaneously, one died, and I get a level. Could this be the reason you seek? :)

Underfot -- yeah, if it's gone on reload, that doesn't help, unfortunately.

Smiling Spectre -- wicked! I can definitely see that one on loading it, so that should be all I need!
