| Description | Currently, there seems to be no incentive to attempt to nurture multiple settlements (in fact, they seem to be a downside..). As far as I can tell you are best off pooling every survivor you can into your main settlement to make better use of things like libraries and warehouses. Not sure if there's any plans to add something to help with this, but currently when I see an extra settlement I sigh internally, go through the initial setup of making it self sufficient, then get irritated that I have another thing I have to check before I risk ending a turn (make sure no monsters are about to eat this new settlement). Disclaimer : I found myself somewhat uninterested in playing AVWW in the past couple of weeks or so. I thought a bit about why and came up with a few things that have contributed to a decreasing interest in playing the game. Sorry if they seem petty or demanding! That is not the intention, I am just attempting to objectively describe why I'm not playing AVWW right now ;-) | ||||

I'll leave this open as a feature suggestion, but I'll say that there is a TON of stuff coming in this area. It's taken a bit of a back-burner of late because Keith is focusing on multiplayer at the moment, but there is TONS more coming. Also, I'll say that one change that has already been made that should help this is that settlements will spawn a good bit less frequently. |
