| Description | Intra-Galactic Warp Gates aren't currently excluded from group selection (like docks and such are), which means that selecting a group containing one will set the gather point to wherever the group is being moved to. I discovered this by setting up a staging area and launching an assault raid, and ending up with a steady stream of rebuilt ships plunging through a wormhole into an AI killzone. | ||||

New nebula-wormhole minor faction constructors also do this. Maybe there needs to be a generic check for immobile units (or set-rally-point-instead-of-moving or whatever) when selecting by group number rather than specific exclusions? I tend to put most of my constructors in numbered groups, and having to be careful about grabbing all "group 2" units and sending them across the galaxy in case I accidentally send all new construction there as well is annoying. (Especially when I'm rapidly sending reinforcements to a battle that isn't going my way.) |

For 5.063: * The following units are now omitted from control group selection since control groups for them are just part of getting newly constructed ships assigned to the right control group and moved to the right spot: ** All human intragalactic warp gates. ** Human Rebel Colony (base game). ** Spire Refugee Colony (Fallen Spire). ** Spire Shipyard (Fallen Spire). ** All splinter-faction construction facilities (Ancient Shadows). ** Thanks to jerith for the suggestion. |
