Is there any case where you would actually want to use a scroll instead of a potion though? |

Why doesn't crafting from those shard thingis create potions instead of scrolls since they are the same anyway?
Well it's true that RIGHT NOW it doesn't make any difference but it's by design bad to not let the player do as he/she wants to do. It may be different in the future. |

The reason they were separated (they were all scrolls to begin with) was to differentiate between freebies (i.e. the four potions you get from the guardian) from the crafted (i.e. the scrolls). That way, you can have scrolls as an "emergency supply" while still not losing out on the warp freebies. |

The reason warp potions were introduced in the first place is to let the guardian stones refresh your four free warps while still letting you carry a stash of crafted warp scrolls around for the times you need more than that. |

This is working as intended. There is no way to click the potion or scroll to have it do anything -- all those do is open up the map to prompt you to use the map to actually use the warp. But that first step of clicking the potion or the scroll isn't required if you already have the map up, and doesn't actually do anything beyond opening the map. |
