Summary | 0004480: Two tweaks to help dual monitor users
Description | A couple small things I noticed while playing that are very minor annoyances. 1) It would be nice if the game auto paused when it loses focus. From alt+ tab -- or in dual monitor setups I've found myself aiming towards the edges at a boss and ending up going off the edge of the game into the other screen and clicking it, which caused the resolution to snap back to normal desktop as I listened to bad things happen to my character. 2) Slightly bigger boundaries on the strategic map to scroll view. Can be a bit hard to get the little patch that moves things without wandering over onto the other screen.

I support (1) strongly. I also support (2), though much less strongly. |

Autopausing might be problematic in multiplayer. I'm not sure if it's feasible with Unity, but it might be possible to add an option (defaulting to off!) to have the game steal the mouse cursor and not allow it to leave the bounds of the game window. This would let you alt-tab out, but would make it less likely that you accidentally click outside the game window and suddenly type a whole string of movement commands to your boss in Skype or whatever. This kind of behaviour is incredibly hostile to people who haven't specifically asked for it, though, so it really shouldn't be the default. |

In many ways, that's better anyway. |

+1 on the multimon "lost focus" fix. I'm okay with having the mouse fixed to the game window, as long as I can alt-tab out of it easily (I often have the browser open into the wiki, or whatever) |

Unfortunately, this isn't possible yet with the Unity engine. Hopefully soon. |
