Summary | 0004438: Rows in inventory keep swapping
Description | It has happened to me many times now where I'll go to cast my energy pulse spell (just an example) and I'll end up casting launch rock instead. Launch rock is in the row directly above energy pulse in my inventory. Then I look and see that what was in the second row of my inventory is now in the first row and what I had in my first row is now in the second row. I don't think I'm pressing any buttons by accident that's causing this. It must be a bug of some kind.

If you press r you will swap skill bars :) |
I occasionally hit R when I'm frantically trying to get through a door. It happens infrequently enough that I'm happy with the default keybinding, but it would be nice if this were more noticeable. |
Hmm I never even realize I've pressed the R key. It would be good if there was a way to lock your skill bar then. |
Before I knew about the R key, I think I must have hit it and swapped to the second row. Then I figured out the inventory mechanics (still not realizing the R key thing) and I moved all of my desired spells to what I thought was the first row, but in reality was the second. From then on, every time I loaded the game I had what I thought was the 'wrong' bar up. Once I wised up to what I had done, I switched up my inventory and problem solved. I think the game should save whichever row you had up last when you quit. This would avoid some confusion. |
Just rebind r, that's what I did! The switching inventory bar thing would be far more useful if things like ride the lightning didn't have to always be present in the active bar for you to use them; or if some slots were static or something. |
Yeah, this isn't a bug, re-binding the key will work just fine. |
