| Description | I find myself ignoring the granite formations simply because I feel it won't affect the outcome of my settlements by enough to bother. Wood is plentiful enough from the many trees, but the granite formations aren't as plentiful. If they dropped an extra 1 to 3 granite randomized, or scaled up based on the level of the chunk, it might make those granite sightings a little more exciting. | ||||

These things aren't really meant to be given to the settlement -- I mean, you can if you wish. But the settlement is expected to create its own resources. These provide a way for you to actually craft things in the crafting interface without withdrawing from the settlement. Right now there are few things that use those two particular materials, but there will be more. |
