| Description | Currently on the world map, areas that are outside of your civ level are covered in black tiles until you reach the relevant civ level to reveal them. This has resulted in me circling all my territory every time my civ levels up and the trip keeps getting bigger. Perhaps something similar to the fog of war on the strategy map could be added to let us know which areas are now open to explore. | ||||

I'd certainly be for some kind of different colored border or whatever to indicate "this is not the edge of the knowable world, just the known world". |

Actually Chris already fixed this in a broad set of changes a few versions ago. There's no longer any need to get physically near a region to see it, but now it only generates regions for a certain number of levels higher than you, rather than a potentially-thick "crust" of non-visible regions. |
