Description | the big vortex event scattered tons of "conciousness energy" or something like that everywhere and it's crystalized or otherwise solidified into stuff you can pick up. Or maybe it's still energy-form and only someone with a lens can collect it. Anyway, it's all shreds and isn't usable for even memory-crystal purposes, much less actually recompositing the people it came from, but certain amounts could then be "spent" on certain things: - At the storyteller in combination with a memory crystal to unlock a specific node chosen by the player. Currently the plan is that when they hand the storyteller a story-crystal it randomly picks three border-unlit nodes that the player then chooses one to light up, rather than having memory crystals ever be specifically for one node. - Also in conjunction with a memory crystal, but this time to guarantee that it unlocks a crafting node in a craft specified by the player, and maybe if they spend a _lot_ they can actually pick the node, or something like that. - At a War Guardian to give the Ilari the strength to project a "siege field" against a relatively nearby evil-site to start those siege events we've been talking about. Presumably there would be another way to do this but turning in the filler could make it happen faster or something like that. - A pretty big chunk to "spawn" a new wind-shelter-eligible spot in a chunk, in case there's some big gap in the network of available spaces. | ||||

FYI, consciousness energy is now in place as a MaterialType, to be used with the Commodity item type. And it's seeded around in various places. So it's basically good to go! |
