Summary | 0003283: Enemies: Amoeba and Giant Amoeba.
Description | These float around above the ground, probably at a middling sort of pace, and cast water on anything that gets too close. These also should have a minimum quantity per chunk, and when there are fewer than the minimum, these should divide (they don't get any smaller, though). The giant version is just a more dangerous version of the smaller ones, and gets introduced later.

Perhaps if two amoebas collide it could spawn a Giant Amoeba :) |
True. :) Actually, we could probably work out a system whereby ameobas are able to have a size that grows and shrinks as they collide and split and so forth. Kind of like Osmos, if you've played that. |
Yes, I've played Osmos, a neat game though it didn't hold my interest all that long. Having a dynamically sized creature would be an interesting mechanic to explore for a variety of reasons. You could have creatures that get smaller or larger as they take damage (and are thus harder to hit or harder to evade), and perhaps do more/less damage as they change size. |
Yeah, I think that would be quite interesting. As long as we're always scaling down from the max image size, it will work fine. |
Nah, adding enemies like those would never work. You guys, uh, haven't really been updating all of these entries over time, have you? Heh. If amoebas really did combine to form Giant Amoebas (in their current state, or worse, their previous state from a couple weeks ago), that would truly be terrifying: "You know, on second thought, I think we can learn to live with the wind; our new mission is to find A Valley Without Amoebas." |

Wow that's old. :) |
