Summary | 0003003: Shortcut keys for maximum and default game speeds
Description | Hi, I hope this is the right place for this: My game style involves switching to +10 game speed and back to +0 very often (while waiting for stuff to complete building, for example), so I end up hammering on my plus and minus keys all the time. My suggestion would be something like: Make CTRL-Pluskey increase the gamespeed in increments of 10, while CTRL-Minuskey decreases in steps of 10. Either that or have direct selection keys (on the numpad, perhaps) for the speeds 0 and +10 (and perhaps -10). Regardless of whether you choose to implement this or not: Keep up the great work! :-) Greetings, busfahrer

And one for minimum speed too? If for no other reason than the sake of completeness. |

Perhaps the existing speed steps are just set up in increments that are too small. Maybe if it jumped up by +5 or +10 (and -5 -10) each time it would be more useful. Maybe even higher or lower speeds would be useful? Edit: I've also noticed that actively holding the + key makes the game run faster than just setting it at +10 and leaving it there. I have no idea why. |
