| Description | These structures currently use LargePlotA, which is the same "giant blocky mechanical building" as hydroponic towers, VR cradle factories, water filters, and the tower mainframe. This has a couple of problems: Firstly, the signposting isn't great. LargePlotA really doesn't look like a building people live in, and it's mostly used for "factory" type buildings that take an input and produce something. LargePlotB (currently used for the wind power generator) looks much more like a residential structure, albeit an unconventional one, which is about what you want for refugee housing. Secondly, LargePlotA is very widely used and is *incredibly* conspicuous and ugly - which isn't a bad thing at all - but I'd kind of prefer to have fewer of them. LargePlotB isn't used very much; it's wind generators and Large Electrical Parasites. I could also see an argument for moving the tower mainframe to LargePlotB, either as well as or instead of the refugee housing, just to have fewer LargePlotBs. I wouldn't normally suggest something so comparatively trivial in such a busy time, but I think it breaks savegames, so better to do before release. | ||||
