One of the things that bugged me about tLF was that the level of representation of population was just granular enough to show detail, but not enough for it to make sense. You could end up in weird states where your birth rates and death rates were so large, that everyone should be an infant. Given that turns are arbitrary lengths of time, I'd advocate that keeping to a simple representation of population change would be sufficient. So at the maximum something like: Population: 6M Growth: 100K Decline: 100K Net: 0M Alternatively, just: Population: 6M (+0K) |

This is a very good point. Most of the population replenishment is immigration from other Vorsiber cities anyway, since this is the most desirable one. |
