Summary0028498: Suggestion - Screen can easily become very obscured with UI without any real reason
DescriptionCurrently when all available widgets/windows/sidebars are enabled the screen can get very cluttered and hard to read.
This turns out to be rather annoying when trying to follow more complex chains of events (e.g. trying to trace how to gather/create resources for specific buildings).
Due to all of the windows staying open unless they're manually closed there is a lot of unnecessary information leftover that makes spotting what the player is actually looking for significantly more difficult than it has to be.

I would need information about specific cases. Typically windows stay open until a player closes them because I assume they may want to multitask or cross-compare information.

I'm inclined to think that this is working as intended, without a specific example.

One of the chains of events I've run into several times is:
Moving my units > Checking the checklist for what I need to do in the mainline > Checking the building tab (since most milestones require the player to build something) > Not finding the building I need > Checking the handbook for any additional info.

This chain of events can leave the screen cluttered with a lot of visual noise (highlighted buildings and icons) along with all the windows and sidebars, which are not really needed at that moment.
As per that the UI partially goes outside of the screen (as reported in: https://bugtracker.arcengames.com/view.php?id=28513). Please keep in mind that this is a minor suggestion, it's perfectly possible to still find the information I need. Simply the experience itself is less pleasant than it could've been.

Through several changes in this next build, I think this is as resolved as it can get. In particular the sidebar now has an X on it to close that more easily, and the handbook works very differently, etc.
