Summary | 0028316: "speak to a rebel" should instruct right-click to speak
Description | The control scheme is, left click to select your android and then right-click to interact with the rebel. During my first play through, I was trying to identify which were rebels, which were security ops, which were detectives, and so on. Generally, the first entry into the world had identification issues and using which mouse button to do what. Finding friendly androids in the tutorial a little bit hard to distinguish visually. Figuring out the allies and enemies/factions cannot be done by color. Improvements to this very early game quest can set the expectation: this is how you identify who is what, and this is how you create the interaction.

In the first version you had, it already had the below text (see image) that tells you to right-click the rebel. I'm a bit confused. Was it not showing? As far as the rebels and the security folks, they have consistent colors for that specific combat role, and also an icon that is unique. If you shot the rebel observer, then all the rebels had really consistent pink flags above them. Investigators all had a magnifying glass, and are cyan generally. And the backup guards are red, IIRC. One thing that was maybe confusing is that an investigator in the middle of an investigation shows the magnifier as purple, so that you know to shoot them extra quickly. But I think this does confuse things. Other than that one bit, all of the rest should be really really clear, I would thing. |

This fix is in for the next one, but beyond that I think everything should already be as described. * Adjusted the color of when investigators are investigating a crime to be the same teal color as their normal magnifying glass, rather than shifting to purple. This was needlessly confusing. |
