Description | Error log popped up stating an inability to delete save. I am currently playing on ironman, 2 Diff 8 AI's. Save game attached. This is an OS problem; your OS is preventing the game from deleting the file. I'm not sure there's anything we can do about this |

Understood. I'll dig into it a bit more on my side and see what I can find. Worst case I'll turn off Ironman - no biggie. |

It seems that Steam is locking the file as it syncs it to the cloud, so if the autosave deletion on Ironman hits while it's doing that, Error log. There doesn't seem to be any detriment to the gameplay, or how the game runs as far as I can tell. Interestingly enough it seems to be really intermittent when Steam is making the decision to sync the file, which is why I've only seen it twice ever. Easy Fix is to disable either Cloud Saves, disable Ironman, or to simply ignore the error and turn off logging via UI prompt. |
