Description | The Brownout while the pause seems to come back (as per Beta 3.603 fix). While energy is negative the 'grace period' before brownout still ticking even while the game is paused and will trigger the Brownout penalty. Attached screenshot that deletes the energy without leaving the pause, notice the Game Time being the same (5h 48m 29s). | ||||

Ah -- technically this is not a bug, but rather the game is still running frames in the background. The grace period was implemented as a way to prevent players from having a dip into brownout because of something quick happening, and then having their forcefields down for a while. That said, I understand how strange this is, and I had not considered this part of the problem space. In other words, it's working as intended, but I think the intent should change, because this is confusing. |

Thanks! * The grace period for not incurring a brownout with negative energy no longer counts upward while the game is paused. It wasn't a bug per se that it did before, but it was sure confusing and probably not ideal. |
