Summary | 0002648: don't reset game mode on new map seed
Description | Currently when you generate a new map seed the game mode resets to conquest. this makes it hard to find a map with the bonus ships you want since defender has different ones than conquest.

Ok, I just tried again and it does not reset. I clearly remember I did have to set it multiple times yesterday, though. Weird. |
|
Sometimes the lobby remembers settings. Sometimes, it doesn't. Worse, sometimes only some of the settings save. I still haven't figured any rhyme or reason to it. |
|
OK, one time the game type resets is after creating a game and quitting it. It is a tiny bit annoying when I am trying to test defender mode. But I can live with it :) |

If you change settings, not start the game, than leave the galaxy-setup screen -> all settings will be reverted to what the game remembered from previous game. When you start the game those settings will be aplied, you can quit and generate as many maps as you want without settings changing. At least that is how it works for me. |
