Description | I just started a new game and is blasted by a System.IndexOutOfRangeException error(s) not sure what is causing it... my game sim and fps immediately tanked disclaimer I did turn off the one setting and this is a 300-planet map with the spire infused empire testing/ dumb challenge | ||||

i am unable to order fleet around on the galaxy map... i need to go to the planet and control click to get ships to go from 1 planet to another |

I can duplicate this. I'm not sure why this is happening yet, if it's a mod or what. Looking into it! |

Oh... this is 300-planet map, you said? It may outright break on those, let me check. |

Okay, here's the fix, although that save will still not work. Thanks! * Rather than spawning endless errors when an invalid number of planets is chosen for our pathfinders, it now just shows a few errors that actually explain that the planet count is too high, and then it disables pathfinding calls in that game (so ships can't get between planets in general, except to directly next door). ** The maximum number of planets is 299, and the save in question had 301 (it started with 300 probably, and then added a nomad). ** More than the normal 120 planets is really discouraged, as the performance in larger galaxies get more-than-exponentially worse. |
