Summary0026434: Balance - Sabot wards
DescriptionI noticed that having sabot wards nullifies most of the issues with big and scary units (e.g.: Dire guardians). Probably reducing the bonus damage multiplier would help to put them better in line.
The other units with 100x against big ships are static, whereas these wards move with the fleet, making them an extraordinary weapon, even with the long burts reload.

Part of me wants to keep their multiplier and make their base damage proportionally weaker. Be nice to keep this consistent with the other sabot weapons

Coul remove/reduce the burst fire as well

I agree that these are a tad overpowered, as they are equally as powerful as the stationary kind, but capable of moving. Sabot guardposts, for instance, are intended to be scary, but are fine being so because you can simply avoid them.

I second either reducing the multiplier, or cutting the base damage down so low that it has the same result.
